Even more freak weather

The temperature may not have reached -214º in Aberystwyth on Sunday afternoon as predicted, but we did have a tornado yesterday morning!

Tornado

This is the second tornado we have experienced in and around Aberystwyth in the last 18 months. The last causing considerable damage to roofs, chimneys and road signs in November 2006.  This one was a ‘water spout’ and as of yet there has been no damage reported, which probably means it didn’t come inland
